Mainframe to UNIX conversion is easy with FilePort. FilePort can automatically transform mainframe data to UNIX format – or UNIX data to mainframe format – without destroying your data or existing record layouts.

The data to be converted can contain any combination of character, decimal, packed decimal and binary fields. FilePort runs on all major UNIX systems. It needs no installation other than the tar command and executes by use of the fileport command.
